This journey is an invitation to discover the Land of Frankincense, in the heart of the Dhofar region, in southern Oman. We will also have the opportunity to explore on foot the mythical "desert of deserts", accompanied by our Bedouin team for an unprecedented human experience in the Rub Al Khali. Between the ancient frankincense ports, the verdant wadis, the wild cliffs and the vastness of the desert, this journey offers a rare immersion in the heart of the landscapes and traditions of southern Oman. An exceptional adventure where nature, history and encounters combine to reveal all the magic of a region still preserved.

Exploration of East Salalah
Visit of the Taqah fort, transformed into a museum of local customs and traditions
Then discovery of Sumharam, an ancient incense port dating from the pre-Islamic period, followed by a walk to Khor Rori where an old dhow (Arab sailing ship) wreck and its reconstruction stand.
We then head to the refreshing Wadi Darbat, where depending on the time of year you will be able to admire its waterfalls. A picturesque walk, continuing along the wadi, allows you to discover magnificent trees with vines and prominent roots and splendid caves.
We will also make a stop at the fishing port of Mirbat and have the opportunity to admire some remains of old houses.

Exploration of Western Salalah
Discovery of the Al Baleed archaeological site, another incense port, this time dating from the Islamic period. Then we will cross biblical landscapes to reach the Tomb of Job, called locally Ayoub.
Next, heading to the coast for a visit to Mughsail, famous for its blowholes when the sea is rough.
Finally, we take the mountain road to reach the splendid Fazayah site nestled between sea and mountains.

We continue along the mountain road to reach the city of Ubar, which Lawrence of Arabia nicknamed "The Atlantis of the Sands".
Then we venture into the Rub Al Khali, the Desert of deserts as British explorer Wilfried Thesiger called it. We will be able to admire our first sunset in the heart of the dunes.

Return to Salalah
We leave the desert to reach the frankincense reserve of Wadi Dawkah, protected by UNESCO.
We continue our journey to Salalah.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Canada traveling to Oman for a tourist stay. Entry requirements may change, so we recommend verifying the information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport
To enter Oman, your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of entry into the country and must contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Tourist visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Canada must obtain a visa to enter Oman. This can be easily obtained as an e-visa before departure via the official portal of the Omani authorities.
The tourist visa is generally granted for a stay of up to 30 days, with the possibility of a one-month extension through the Omani immigration services. A multiple-entry version is also available, valid for one year.
The authorities may also request:
a proof of departure from the country (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
a accommodation booking for the duration of your stay.
Omani e-visa
Before your arrival, it is strongly recommended that you apply for your visa online via the official portal of the Omani immigration services (Royal Oman Police). This system allows you to obtain a digital entry authorization before departure.

address of your first accommodation in Oman
recent identity photograph
Once your visa is approved, a digital confirmation or QR code will be sent to you by email and must be presented when passing through immigration.
Traveling with children
Minors must have their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay, as well as their own tourist visa.
In some European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, a parental authorization to leave the country may be required under the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travelers concerned should inquire with the embassy or consulate of Oman in their country of residence.
